Good location, no road noise but can hear other guests thumping up and down the steps as its 2 storey. Staff friendly and helpful when we required a third towel for our daughter. Shower pressure terrible and room could do with a refresh -circa late 80s early 90s, paint and a bit of water damage in bathroom as no fan - but linen clean and presentable, room tidy and kitchen clean. Would stay again but not for a long stay. We only stayed 2 nights.
On a Thursday night in spring it is well priced. The room was large for a couple, clean and tidy. We came slightly later than normal and we still welcomed by the staff. Very close to the town and beach. The bed was very hard but came with spare blankets and pillows which were welcome. The room had one of those loud and annoying air conditioned boxes. Why they don't have split systems is a mystery. The overall grounds are a bit run down. We will very happily stay again.
Cheap place to sleep..Friendly staff.. Very clean and tidy for the price.. If your on a tight budget.. This is the place to stay.
Tidy spacious rooms, no road noise, great hot shower and comfortable bed. Only complaint was the heater/air conditioner was too noisy and had to turn it off overnight.The staff were very friendly and helpfulA great stop if passing through on the Great Ocean Road. Supermarket in walking distance to top up supplies. Adequately priced.
This place is great! The rooms are fantastic for the price, we had a spa bath, everything is clean, location is wonderful and owners very friendly and helpful. All the people leaving negative reviews are expecting the world for nothing. For a less than $100 p/n hotel it is exceptional. We will defo be back and you should stay here if you're looking for a quality budget place in Lorne.
