The location is perfect and staff are very polite and friendly, the ocean views are great and they were so helpful and happy to extend our checkout as a result of one of our guests getting sick. The only downfall would be no room service after like 4pm and no AC in the bedrooms but I would go back
Lovely staff, great room with spa and views over the town and ocean. Beautiful and central location. Can walk to main street and beach. Underground parking available and indoor pool and spa for guests. Breakfast included was served at a local but close by cafe. Highly recommend.
We spent one night here. Nice resort located just behind the main road. It's a very short walk to the beach and shops. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Only negative was our bedroom was located next to the lift that takes you down to the car park so we could hear everyone talking as they were waiting for the lift and every guest making their way in and out of their apartments. Other than that it's a great place. Highly recommended if you are staying in Lorne.
My words wont do this place justice ... staff lovely ... the hotel has a swimming pool that's great to have a dip in and splash about... brilliant location ...my room was incredible more like a penthouse even had a kitchen although I opted to eat out i could have very easily stocked the fridge and prepared anything. For the price I paid ... left me speechless. Should also mention the underground secure parking (shutter controlled by room key very clever) 6 stars from me
We've stayed at the Cumberland Lorne Resort several times over the past decade. Lately, rooms appear to have been updated and are excellent in cleanliness and comfort. The hotel has numerous facilities, including an indoor pool and tennis courts. Definitely one of the better places to stay in Lorne.
