I love this caravan park. It's always kept really clean, amenities are fantastic and staff are really friendly.

All the caravan parks in the area are owed/run by the local council. We stayed at top bank caravan park for New Years Eve and paid $90 for one night powered site (we didnt need power but it was the only site left). It was the most disappointing camp site I have ever stayed at. We had a small patch of dirt and that was it. The bathrooms did not have soap and the mirror was just one of those stainless steel sheets of metal where you can't really see yourself at all. There is no camp kitchen.Regretting staying here, should have just paid to use the showers and would have had a better camp site parked on the side of a road somewhere.Pros: location. Also security came through with flyers to advise all the guests to lock up their campsites as there had been someone going through stealing surfboards and other items from multiple people.Cons: overpriced, terrible facilities

I was disappointed when I noticed that I was charged more than I should have been when booking directly at reception than directly through the internet on their own website. $60 per night for a powered site and $50 online. Was told simply that the rate had changed. I don't feel that's good business practice. The caravan Parks themselves have little security. (No boom gates like many do). The bathroom facilities at the site behind the foodworks needs a good clean out. (Just look at the ceiling cobwebs galore). But the toilets and showers were we'll kept. The area is nice though and the staff polite. Just ask them to give you a caravan friendly spot so they don't have you backing into a tight area.

Love Lorne and this caravan park. So close to the beach, river and shops. You can walk everywhere. Great attractions near by also. Terrific facilities for a camp ground.

The park is run very well by a group of very nice people. Wendy, Peter and Julie were lovely to us and thats why we come year after year. Occasionally the security personnel have focused on us more than required due to our young age (20-25) but the people in charge have always been lovely.
